Objective
The FC Northwest (FCNW) Dress Code Policy is intended to create a consistent brand and message. It provides opportunities for members to develop and show pride while taking part in any FCNW program, event and/or function as representatives of the Club. It also fosters discipline in the individuals that wear the uniform and promotes a professional atmosphere.
Definitions
The branding of the FCNW Corporate Logo, Secondary Shield and FCNW letter logo are the property of FC Northwest and are not to be used for individual purposes or individual team purposes. The current sole supplier of all FCNW apparel items is Diadora.
FCNW Athletes refers to any participant involved in any program run by FCNW including tournaments and games.
FCNW Coaches refers to Club Head Coach, FCNW Technical Staff, team coaches and their assistants who are approved by FCNW and appear on the official team roster.
Dress Code – Athletes
All athletes are required to wear approved FCNW apparel and uniforms as outlined on the ‘Club Apparel’ form.
Players are to adhere to dress code policy at all times. This will include, but may not be limited to, games and tournaments.
Present FCNW uniforms are not to be worn during practices. While dress code is not required at regular team practices, players should continue to follow a consistent message of team pride, encouraging a professional uniformed atmosphere as representatives of the club.
Dress codes may be enforced for specialized training sessions (Prospects Training, High Performance, etc.) so please confirm with the coaching staff prior to attending the first session if it is not already noted.
Athletes who do not come dressed appropriately to games; tournaments or specialized training may not be allowed to participate. Repeated violations of this policy will be reported to the Club Head Coach and may result in suspension from an event or game.
Equipment – For all players’ safety, shin guards must be worn for games, practices and training sessions including academies. It is the responsibility of the player to wear shin guards and will bare all liability should they not be worn.
Dress Code – Coaching Staff
All coaches are required to wear approved FCNW apparel and uniforms as outlined on the ‘Club Apparel’ form.
All coaches are to adhere to dress code policy at all times. This will include, but may not be limited to, games and tournaments.
While dress code is not required at team practices, it is expected that all coaching staff will dress appropriately, and in a way that will allow them the ability to participate with the team – shorts/track pants, shirts and cleats/runners (NO open toed shoes such as flip-flops or sandals). Coaches should also follow a consistent message of team pride, encouraging a professional uniformed atmosphere as representatives of the club.
Coaching staff that does not come dressed appropriately to games, tournaments or specialized training sessions may not be allowed to participate. Repeated violations of this policy will be reported to the Club Head Coach and may result in suspension from an event or game.
