Youth to Senior Policy

FC Northwest Youth to Senior Policy

Due to “abuse of privilege” over the years, FCNW will adopt the following procedures for allowing youth players to play in senior games as guest players:

1. Only a member identified on the Manitoba Soccer Association Affiliation documents will be allowed to issue and sign a Youth to Senior permit for coaches. Approval from the Club President or the Club Head Coach must be obtained before submitting the request.
2. Coaches must bring proper identification of the player(s) requesting the permit(s). Roster forms or ID Cards will suffice.
3. Youth players must play with their Youth team before playing with a Senior Club.
4. Any Youth player found registering with a Youth team for the sole purpose of playing up with a Senior Club, will be suspended from that Youth team indefinitely. 5. The Youth Player card must be returned to his or her coach within 24 hours of senior game in which he or she played.
6. Any Youth Coach found allowing Youth players to play Senior games without permission from the above-mentioned Directors, will be suspended for two years. 7. Any Senior Club found having Youth players as guests without our approval will have any future FCNW permits denied for a period of two years.
8. FCNW will work with all Senior Leagues in regards to this Policy and will expect that all permits used by FCNW players be returned to the FCNW Office after use.
9. This policy will be administered in conjunction and consistently with the WYSA and MSA policies regarding youth to senior permits.
